I made my first independent trip when I was 13. Since then I have always been a travel junkie. Be it exploring a city or trekking in wilderness or a road trip, I am always in on every plan. And my europe trip opened me up to a whole new style of solo travel!! So i'm a free bird!.

Paris

This city will always be the one very close to my heart. I spent more than 3 months, exploring new areas of the city, but it still had a lot more to offer. If Paris is in your travel bucket, make sure you spent at least a week here.

Venice

The floating paradise is one of the most sought out destinations. Filled with narrow channels like some liquid streets all connected to the Grand Canal. People visit this haven for the gondola rides, glass factories & its
archipelago. You can find a lot of canoe racing competition happening here throughout the year.

Rome

For all the Angels & Demons fans, it's a haven for you all. The city is filled with roman architecture up to it's neck. Every square, every street, every monument has a story of it's own, and all of those stories are amazing! Home to the Colosseum & Vatican, this is a MUST travel destination.

Munich

Dubbed the best city in the world from a work-life balance standpoint, Munich really is an amazing city. It is the head quarters of BMW & has 2 amazing car exhibitions in BMW Museum & BMW Welt, All car lovers should check out these amazing asphalt turbos!!!!

Kodaikanal

Its a beautiful hill station in Tamil Nadu. A weekend getaway for people living around the place. Calming aura, serene pine cone forests, pleasant lawns, you can find all these in one place at Kodaikanal.

Vatican

Tho its inside Rome, Vatican is a separate country. A country where the Pope lives. The Vatican Church, is the largest Church in the World, capable of holding about a million people inside. Its fabulously designed. Every roof, every sculpture has an untold story for the visitors.

Kashmir

Kashmir - The crown of India, is among the most beautiful, serene & unpolluted places in India. I did a trek in Kashmir called Tarsar Marsar Trek with peak of 13,500 ft.

Marseilles

I had never heard of this place before. Luckily my conference was here & I got to go around Marseilles. It's one of the most beautiful coastal cities I have ever seen. Don't miss the Frioul Islands.

Milan

Milan is known for its Duomo, a mammoth cathedral which has been around for more than 600 years. The city is home to Da Vinci's famous last supper. A heads up - to visit the museum where last supper is held, book your tickets atleast a month in advace.

Mahab

Short for Mahabalipura is a UNSECO world heritage site filled with 7th & 8th century architecture. I visited her once with my friends on a bicycle road trip from Chennai.

Barcelona

The home ground of my dream team & also the infamous La Sagrada Familia church, you can find a lot of monuments built by the famous sapnish architect Antoni Gaudi . You might recall these names from the Dan Brown masterpiece The Origins. BTW I found Barcelona over expensive as a tourist.

Geneva

Well we've all heard about this one. GMT +0.00. CERN. UN headquarters. Swiss chocolates! You should visit here on weekends to get a sneak peek in the CERN & if you are lucky, you can actually walk in the LHC.

Nice

Another pit stop on the French Rivera. A beautiful city famous for it's pebble beaches & food streets.

Florence

Famous of it's lavish & unique catholic architecture, this city holds many famous creations of legendary artists. Also know for it's gold market on the Ponte Vechhio bridge.

Goa

Goa is every bachelors dream trip. The beaches, rave parties, carnivals & floating casinos. Goa is happy to satisfy all types of trips, be it a adventure trip with friends or a new year getaway. While North Goa is more of the city & nightlife, south goa is for the nature-lovers.

Pachmarhi

Situated in the Satpura National park in central India, Pachmarhi is most famous for the tiger reserve, Shiv temple and history with pandavas. The Chauragarh temple situated in the heart of this tiger reserve, boasts 1300 big stone steps, which might not sound like a big deal, but are a challenge for a beginner. Also a visit to the Bee Falls is a must.

Amsterdam

To all the youngsters reading this, everything you have heard related to this name is TRUE! You can relate it to as the crazy adventure hub of Europe, the way goa is for India. And when you visit there, go to Madame Tussade, Heiniken Experience & Xtracold Icebar.

Toulouse

A relatively clam & serene city, on the banks of Garonne river, with a very relaxing mood. Unfortunately, if you arrive here early morning, you won't find anything open with an exception of a few bakeries.

Stuttgart

Automobile capital of Europe, Stuttgart is home to Mercedes, Porsche & Bosch. Museum of Mercedes literally walks you through the origins of automobile industry.

Chopta

Located in Uttarakhand, Chopta is the base point to Chandrashila-Tungnath circuit. Tungnath is the highest Shiv temple in the world. The trek is amazing covered in waist deep snow in the months of February & March, while boasting beautiful meadows during summer. It's worth visiting this white beauty.

Monacco

Monacco is unlike any other city/country I have ever seen during my travel. The country hosts the Grand Prix (that was my primary motive for the visit) along the city roads & docks. The city is built hill side thus fashioning multi-level layout. Here are some pictures to give you a clue.

Brussels

Brussels is simply ecstatic. It has so so many beautiful locations to visit - Atomium, Mini Europe, Modern Art Museum, Grand Palais, etc. etc. And obviously the highlight is the authentic Belgian Waffles & Chocolates. They also host a vintage cars exhibition & drives.
